We breed for strong hunters using proven dogs with the potential of producing filed trial champions, show champions or the
  prized dual champion.  We only breed dogs who's hips have been OFA certified Good or Excellent.  The Brittany standard
  was written to describe what a Brittany should look like. While it serves as the standard by which a Brittany is judged in the
 show or conformation ring, we feel it should also apply to the pet and the field trial dog. No standard exists for how a Brittany
 should hunt, however form follows function, and we feel that our Brittanys should be competitive in field trials but just as importantly,
they must display the attributes of a fine gun dog: desire, bird finding ability, intelligence in using the wind and searching out objectives, a
              superb nose, retrieving ability, and style on point.
